Accessibility Policy
The Haus of Founders Last reviewed: 27 July 2026
Our Commitment
The Haus of Founders is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards to make that happen.
We want every visitor – including prospective members, event guests, and partners – to be able to access our website’s content, apply for membership, and register for events without barriers, regardless of ability or the technology they use.
Standards We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and more usable for everyone in general.
Measures We Take
To support accessibility, we:
- Use clear heading structure and consistent navigation across all pages
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images
- Ensure sufficient colour contrast between text and background
- Design forms (including membership applications and event registrations) with clear labels and error messages
- Make sure the site can be navigated using a keyboard alone
- Test key pages with screen reading software
- Review third-party tools (booking, payment, and application forms) for accessibility where possible
- Train our team and content contributors on accessible content practices
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content on this site may not yet be fully accessible. This can include:
- PDFs or documents from third parties
- Embedded content from external platforms (such as video, social media, or booking widgets)
- Older content that has not yet been updated to current standards
We are actively working to identify and correct these issues.
Feedback and Contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you encounter a barrier, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us:
- Email: hello@nickijames.com
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and will do our best to provide the information, item, or service you’re looking for through an alternative method if needed.
Formal Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be entitled to escalate the matter to the relevant authority in your jurisdiction (for example, a national human rights or equality body). We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
